Are we a sketch comedy troop or a sketch comedy troupe? On one hand, we are an aggressive force to be reckoned with, which would allude to the more militaristic "troop". Plus we have the Dangerelf. Yet on the other hand, we have a sensitive, artistic side that aims to entertain, which would more aptly be defined as "troupe". Both words derive from the French word for "flock", but we are definitely not sheep so i don't think we are a sketch comedy flock. Thank goodness we are not yet sketch comedy tripe (probably due to the fact that we have no TV deal), nor can we call ourselves a sketch comedy toupe (though denis and andrew may have to consider that in the not so distant future).
I wouldn't mind if we were called a trope.
But there'd probably be loss a splainin' ta do, loosey.

I think we're a real comedy trip.
But If it's between troop and troupe.... I'm not French... know what I'm sayin? I don't ride with Bin Laden, man.

Trust me... you don't want to be a "troop" it's a lousy confusing name that we've been stuck with for over 10 years.
